Cherry Almond Cake recipe
Kick up a simple cake mix with our cherry-almond recipe!
Ingredients:
1 box French vanilla cake mix
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs
¼ cup water
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
½ cups sliced almonds
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a round 9-inch cake pan.
2) Combine cake mix, sour cream, eggs, and water in a medium bowl; mix until smooth.
3) Pour batter into prepared baking pan. Drop pie filling by spoonfuls over the top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until golden.
4) Sprinkle with almonds; cool on a wire rack before serving.
